CM-YUVA Eligibility: Who Can Apply?
Eligibility Criteria
- Age: 21 to 40 years at the time of application.
- Domicile: Must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
- Education: Minimum 8th pass. Some categories/loan sizes may need a higher qualification, a recognised skill-training certificate (e.g. Vishwakarma Yojana, PMKVY), or a degree/diploma.
- No duplicate benefit: You should not already be a beneficiary of another government interest-subsidy loan scheme for the same business.
- Business type: New manufacturing, service, or trading businesses โ most legitimate small-business ideas qualify. Negative-list activities (e.g. liquor, tobacco) are excluded.
Priority is generally given to applicants who have completed training under a government-run scheme, and the scheme is aimed especially at first-time entrepreneurs โ delivery riders, gig workers, ITI/polytechnic students, and private university/college students are a good fit.
Can someone above 40 apply?
No โ the age band (21โ40) is a fixed eligibility condition of the scheme.
Is a degree compulsory?
No. 8th pass is the stated minimum; a training certificate or degree/diploma can strengthen the application but is not compulsory for every applicant.
