MSMEUP.com is a free, independent information portal for UP MSME schemes. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to your data when you use this site โ and the short version is: almost nothing is collected, because almost nothing needs to be.
What We Don't Collect
There is no login, no account, and no server-side database behind this site. We don't ask for your name, phone number, email, or any personal detail to read a guide, use a calculator, or generate a document.
Our Tools Run Entirely in Your Browser
The Scheme Finder and DPR Generator are both client-side tools โ everything you type into them is processed on your own device using JavaScript, and none of it is sent to us or saved anywhere. Close the tab, and it's gone. We have no record of what you entered.
Analytics
Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand overall traffic โ which pages are read, roughly how many visitors, which country/device they browse from. This works via a small piece of code (Google's "gtag.js") that sets cookies in your browser and reports anonymised, aggregate usage patterns to Google. We don't use this data to identify you personally, and we don't sell or share it with anyone beyond what Google's own service involves. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google handles this data.
WhatsApp & ClaimDesk
Several pages have a "Chat on WhatsApp" button. Clicking it opens a conversation with ClaimDesk (a NorthStar Advisors brand) โ a separate, private consultancy, not part of this portal's free guides and tools. If you choose to click through and chat, that conversation happens directly between you and ClaimDesk over WhatsApp, and is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy practices and ClaimDesk's, not this page. We don't see or store the content of that chat.
Links to Other Websites
Every scheme guide links to the relevant official government portal (msme.up.gov.in, diupmsme.upsdc.gov.in, udyamregistration.gov.in, and similar). Once you leave this site for one of those, their own privacy practices apply โ we have no control over, and no responsibility for, how they handle your data.
Children's Privacy
This site is intended for business owners and entrepreneurs, not children, and we don't knowingly collect any information from anyone under 18.
Changes to This Policy
If how this site handles data ever changes โ for instance, if a future tool needs to send data somewhere โ this page will be updated first, with a new "last updated" date above.

Do you save what I type into the DPR Generator?
No. It runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript โ nothing you type is transmitted to us or stored anywhere. Refreshing or closing the page clears it.
If I click "Chat on WhatsApp," does MSMEUP.com see my conversation?
No. That opens a direct WhatsApp chat between you and ClaimDesk, a separate consultancy. We have no access to it.
Do you use cookies?
Only the cookies Google Analytics sets to measure site traffic. We don't set any tracking or advertising cookies of our own.
