The Higher Rate for SC/ST Entrepreneurs
SC/ST entrepreneurs running an eligible Micro unit also get the 60% interest subsidy rate, under the same ₹25 lakh per-unit cap and 5-year duration as the women-entrepreneur rate. A valid caste certificate is required to claim this rate.
SC/ST entrepreneurs may also separately qualify for the National SC-ST Hub's 25% capital subsidy (up to ₹25 lakh) on plant & machinery — a different cost head, worth checking alongside this interest subsidy.
