MYSY Bank Loan Process: What Happens After Application?
After the District Working Group Committee Selects You
Once the DWGC selects your application, it's forwarded to the financing branch of a bank. From here, the process is a standard bank loan appraisal:
- The bank reviews your DPR, project cost, and repayment capacity.
- It assesses "technical-economic feasibility" â essentially, whether your project makes sense on paper and can realistically service the loan.
- The bank may ask for additional documents or clarification at this stage.
- On satisfaction, the bank sanctions the loan and disburses funds (often in stages, tied to project milestones).
- The state's margin money subsidy is credited alongside disbursement.
Why This Stage Can Take Time
Being selected by the DWGC is not the same as loan approval â the bank makes its own independent lending decision. Applicants sometimes assume selection guarantees the loan and stop following up, which is a common reason for unnecessary delays.
