ODOP Toolkit & Skill Development Assistance
What This Component Offers
The ODOP Training and Toolkit Scheme gives artisans and workers 10 days of free, non-residential skill and entrepreneurship development training tied to their district’s product, with a daily honorarium of ₹200. After training, an advanced toolkit relevant to the craft is distributed.
Eligibility
- At least 18 years old
- Involved in producing your district’s identified ODOP product
- Haven’t already availed a similar Central or State training/toolkit benefit
- Not a defaulter with any nationalized bank, financial institution, or government body
Is the training residential?
No — it’s explicitly non-residential, meaning you attend during the day and go home, not stay at a training facility.
What kind of toolkit do I get?
It’s an advanced toolkit relevant to your specific craft/product — the exact contents vary by product category and are decided by the implementing institution.
