TUS Documents Required: Complete Checklist
Documents You Will Need
- Udyam Registration certificate
- GST registration and recent GST returns
- Bank account statement of the business
- A detailed project proposal โ need for upgradation, expected benefits, sustainability plan
- Machinery quotation and, after purchase, the final invoice
- Payment proof through a banking channel (no cash purchases)
- A brief write-up comparing old vs. new technology
- Chartered Accountant / Chartered Engineer certificate, where the DIC asks for one
- Compliance documents for applicable environmental/labour law requirements
Do I need the CA/Chartered Engineer certificate for every claim?
Not always โ it depends on the machinery value and what the District Industries Centre asks for at verification. Keep one ready for higher-value claims.
What if my invoice is in a different name than my Udyam certificate?
This is a common rejection trigger โ the purchasing entity on the invoice must match the Udyam-registered business name exactly.
