Export Subsidy Eligibility: Who Qualifies
Core Eligibility (applies across most schemes)
- A valid Import Export Code (IEC)
- A business unit established in Uttar Pradesh
- Udyam registration and GST registration
- Genuine export activity โ proof via shipping bills / Bank Realisation Certificate (BRC)
- Expenses paid through banking channels (for reimbursement-style claims like MDA)
Some schemes have additional, scheme-specific conditions โ e.g. the International Cooperation Scheme requires the applicant to be a registered association/organization, not an individual exporter.
Can an individual proprietorship claim these incentives?
For most UP-specific schemes (MDA, freight support), yes โ but check each scheme individually, since some central schemes (like the IC Scheme) are structured for associations/organizations.
