MYSY Application Process: From Registration to Loan Sanction

Portal โ†’ DWGC Interview โ†’ Bank SanctionLast reviewed: Aug 2026

The Full Journey, Stage by Stage

  1. Online application: Submitted directly on the Directorate of Industries UPMSME portal.
  2. District-level scrutiny: Your application and DPR are checked for completeness and basic eligibility.
  3. District Working Group Committee (DWGC) interview: Conducted under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate, this is where your project is evaluated in person.
  4. Selection and forwarding to bank: If selected, your file moves to a bank branch for appraisal.
  5. Bank sanction and disbursement: The bank assesses technical-economic feasibility and, if satisfied, sanctions and disburses the loan.
  6. Margin money release: The state government's margin money subsidy is released alongside disbursement.

Each stage has its own typical delay points โ€” a weak DPR gets flagged at scrutiny or the interview stage, while bank-side delays tend to happen after selection. See our guides on common rejection reasons and bank-side rejections for what to watch for.
