What is covered?

Why does UP have demand?
Current hydrogen demand in the state is about 0.9 million metric tonnes per annum, used mainly in the fertiliser and refinery sectors â which gives the state a rare captive offtake base for green hydrogen substitution.
What incentives are offered?
Capital subsidy, land subsidy, exemption from electricity duty, transmission and wheeling charge concessions, open access facilitation, water charge concessions and SGST reimbursement.
Are there Centres of Excellence?
Yes â provision for setting up 4 Centres of Excellence for research, development and technological innovation.
How does it converge with the National Green Hydrogen Mission?
State incentives are additional to the Central SIGHT programme incentives for electrolyser manufacturing and hydrogen production.
